Privacy Policy
Vexle is designed to be playable without creating an account. If you choose to create an account, we collect the email address used for sign-in and the display name you provide.
The site may save basic gameplay information in your own browser using localStorage. This can include daily play status, score history, streak information, preferences, or similar settings that help the game remember your progress on the same device.
When you sign in and submit a daily score, Vexle stores leaderboard data such as your user ID, display name, score, game mode, challenge date, country prompt, completion time, and submission time. Public leaderboards show display names and scores, not email addresses.
Analytics and Cookies
Vexle may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand general site usage, such as page views, device type, browser type, and approximate region. Analytics helps us improve performance, fix issues, and understand which pages are useful.
The Google Analytics tag is only included when a gaId is configured in site.config.json. If analytics is enabled, Google may process limited usage data according to its own privacy policies. Vexle does not use analytics to collect gameplay drawings, account credentials, or payment details.
Third-Party Services
Vexle may rely on hosting, analytics, security, or performance services to keep the website available. These providers may process technical information such as IP address, user agent, request time, and page URL as part of normal web delivery.
Vexle uses Supabase to provide account authentication and leaderboard storage. Supabase may process account and leaderboard data so these features can work.
We do not sell personal information. If Vexle adds ads, payments, comments, social features, or other services in the future, this policy will be updated before those features are used.
Your Choices
You can clear Vexle's locally stored gameplay data by clearing site data in your browser settings. You can also use browser settings or extensions to limit cookies, localStorage, and analytics tracking.
You can play without signing in. If you do not sign in, your scores stay local to your browser and will not appear on the public leaderboard.
